P.E.I Mussels Sauteed Italian Sausage, roasted Garlic and Tomato Sauce

Hello everyone, our Sorrentinos Group has a special Garlic event. We hope to share this special event with all of you and especially to those who love garlic. Today I posted pictures and the receipe for one of our favourite dish,   P.E.I Mussels  Italian Sausage, roasted Garlic and Tomato sauce.

INGREDIENTS: 

20 Ed         fresh mussels

3 oz.          crumbled Italian sausage

10 Ed         roasted garlic

1 oz.          olive oil

3 oz.          tomato sauce

2 oz.          white wine

1 oz.          butter

sea salt & black peper to taste

PROCEDURE: 

1.Heat the olive oil in a 10″ saute pan.

2.Add the mussels and the Italian sausages together. Toss them for a few second.

3.Deglaze with white wine, tomato sauce. And season with salt & pepper to taste.

4.Melt the butter in the sauce and place everything in a beautiful white pasta bowl.

5.Garnish with fresh julienne of basil.

6.Finally, serve while it’s still hot with two pieces of garlic bread.
